Windhoeker Maschinenfabrik (WMF) proudly opened its doors to students from the University of Namibia’s Engineering Campus, offering them a unique opportunity to explore the practical side of their studies.
The visit aimed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world application by exposing students to WMF’s operations, technologies, and manufacturing processes. Guided by our skilled team, the students had the chance to learn more about how engineering principles are applied in practice, while also gaining insights into the demands and opportunities of the industry.
Speaking during the tour, WMF management emphasised the company’s commitment to supporting skills development and knowledge sharing with young professionals. “We believe that investing in the next generation of engineers is essential for Namibia’s growth and industrial future,” they noted.
The students expressed excitement and gratitude for the experience, highlighting how it helped them better understand the link between academic studies and workplace realities.
