Windhoek, Namibia – 17 September 2025
We had the honour of hosting a high-level delegation from the Botswana Defence Force Senior Command and Staff Course, Class 17 of 2025, as part of their Geo-Strategic Study Tour to Namibia. The 22-member delegation was briefed on WMF’s operations and its role in supporting Namibia’s industrial growth, innovation, and contribution to national and regional development. The visit formed part of the study theme: “Sustaining Economics Amidst Adverse Climate Change: Implications for Defence and Security.”
We extend our gratitude to the Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs for facilitating this important engagement, and reaffirms its commitment to fostering cross-border collaboration in pursuit of sustainable development and regional security.
